This week has been very interesting. Starting with the day my pals and i were walking in town and we noticed so many street kids in the cbd. since we were kind of busy with our stories we didn't pay much attention to those kids until i felt the paper bag with my lunch was a little heavy than usual. So i decided to look at what was making my paper bag heavy only to find a little boy holding it. As i try to tell him i don't have anything coz for real i didn't have any coins, the little boy i presume 3/4yrs old continued to follow me. I try running ahead of my friends and when i stop he's next to me almost crying and looking at me as if i have a solution ... Darn! therefore i decided to carry my paper bag higher and the kid is still following me. Kwani i was magnetic? Anyway i turned to my friend a guy for help thinking he would scare the kid away kumbe he was a softy. He just looked at the kid and left me to figure out what to do whereas my other friend was non-existant all that time. Now with a kid who wants to cry and is not leaving me alone plus friends who are not helping, i dashed into the building where we were headed luckily it was one building away. I had finally evaded that kid ... Sigh! Then my friends arrive later on while laughing at me yet they couldn't help ...nkt.
hahaha just thinking of that day makes me laugh. Then
yesterday i hanged out with my friends catching up on most of the things we missed and laughing at some old stories. I always miss home every time i leave and when iam back i ensure i catch up on everything that is going on. Its nice to have good friends who know you for who you were before and who you are now.
Anyway today my small sister made my day. My mum busted her for doing something wrong. when asked how many times she did it before she didn't budge. So my mum threatened to call her school teacher and then she just started spilling the beans.
"mum i did it on friday and last sunday"
"any other time before that sunday?" (still holding the celphone next to her ear pretending to be calling the teacher)
"okay mum there was another friday before that"
"you sure that is all?"
"yes mum"
By this time my mum and my other sister were dying with laughter. How do you just let the cat out of the bag like that? Lol and she was crying woiye.
To add to it, watching the tusker project fame season 5 auditions ... Killed it. Since kplc don't know how to behave lately, we didn' t have electricity from 7:30-8:30 so i just got to watch the juba auditions which were hilarious. one of the guys auditioning called justin bieber, justin baba and his singing was pathetic. He made kenyans on twitter #KOT tweet so much about it it became a trending topic worldwide. The other people auditioning were just not serious and they lacked talent. If i was a judge at those auditions i would have thrown in the towel since most of those people shouldn't even sing in the shower!
If iam going to be laughing this much every time iam going to add days to my life.
Laughter is the best medicine, a doze of it can make you forget all problems ... Hakuna matata is the way to go.
