female genital mutilation also known as clitoridectomy is something that is still being done by some communities like the pokot, in our country. its an act that has left many bleeding profusely and others dying. those doing it destroy the girls lives because they get married off after it at a tender age and they have to quit school.
to hear some men saying how they cannot marry girls who aren't circumcised is heart breaking. it just shows how backwards some people are even though they claim to have changed their bushmen acts. just speaking of it makes me teary(iam very emotional).
lets stand against this atrocious act and help those girls suffering from it in any way we can.
